We offer both online and in-person courses on a variety of food preservation and culinary topics, including:

2. Who are these courses for?
Our courses are designed for home cooks of all levels, from beginners to more experienced food enthusiasts who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in food preservation and preparation.
3. Do I need any special equipment for your classes?
All materials, tools, and food items for classes are provided for you
4. What’s the difference between your online and in-person classes?
Our in-person classes offer hands-on learning in a small group setting, perfect for those who benefit from live demonstrations and direct instructor feedback.
Our online classes provide flexibility—you can learn at your own pace, from anywhere. Some are live via Zoom, while others are self-paced with video tutorials and downloadable materials.
5. Are your courses safe and science-based?
Yes. All of our food preservation methods follow current USDA safety guidelines and science-based practices. We take food safety seriously and ensure our students do too.
6. Do you offer certificates?
We currently do not offer certificates but, are working with the Health Unit to be able to do this in the near future.
7. Can I ask questions during the online courses?
Absolutely! For live online sessions, there’s a Q&A component. For self-paced courses, we offer email support and a community forum where you can post questions and get feedback from instructors and fellow students.
8. How do I register for a class?
Visit our "Upcoming Classes" page to browse upcoming classes and register. You can sign up online and will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.
9. Do you offer group or private classes?
Yes, we offer private sessions, group bookings, and even team-building workshops for businesses. Contact us directly to discuss options.
10. What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Our cancellation policy varies slightly depending on the class type (in-person vs. online). Full details will be provided to you in your confirmation e-mail.
